The building is located in the central core area of Lianqiu Lake Park, along the waterfront ecological trail, shaped like a yacht floating on the water, and its main function is to receive international VIPs.
The most direct challenge faced by this design is how to coordinate the independent building with the surrounding environment into an organic whole in a strip-shaped waterfront public space. The north side of the yacht building is close to the office building, and there is a public bridge passing through the park on both sides. As the focus of water sight, the yacht building should fully consider the traffic system and its correlation in its design.
At the same time, through line-of-sight analysis, the scheme adopts the dual concepts of "appropriate separation" and "close connection" to reshape the spatial order of the block. The relationship between seeing and being seen, the terrace space formed by yacht plywood space and the combination of functional scenes are the key points of this design.
As a hydrophilic building, its volume presents a distinct spatial orientation: the building has three floors: the indoor space layout of the first and second floors is mainly the reception area, the outer side of the building is the circular corridor, and the top floor is the roof garden and sightseeing tea break, which creates a panoramic viewing platform suspended above the tide in three dimensions.
In the choice of materials and flower borders, the building uses wooden floor, imitating the texture of yacht plywood. This warm floor enhances the dialogue between the building and the environment.
At the same time, in terms of flower border treatment, the plant tone is British style, which mainly adopts the following varieties: Acorus gramineus, Corydalis tricolor, Orchid Sage, Jiexiang, Rosemary, Hydrangea, Agastaches, Phalaenopsis grandiflora, foxglove, Rosemary, Lavender, etc. Through flower border collocation, a dynamic hanging garden with listening to the wind, being hydrophilic and being immersed in eating and swimming is created.
