The commercial and office plot of the Shanghai Regional R&D center project of Conch Venture is located at the intersection of Aksu Road and Shuangding Road in Jiading District, Shanghai, close to the Zhaojing River. The project site is only a 30-minute drive from Hongqiao Hub, enjoying a superior geographical location. It serves as the main base and important carrier of the Shanghai Jiading Science and Technology Innovation Commercial and office Cluster.
The highlight of the landscape design lies in the "garden within a garden", which interprets the landscape space with modern techniques, enhances the plant concentration in public Spaces, integrates multiple functions such as office, leisure, social interaction, and daily life, and reshapes the interpersonal relationships and industrial networks within the park.
The building forms an organic living space with rich layers and dynamic vitality through the combination of perse box Spaces with undulating heights. On the facade, the architectural language is mainly composed of vertical lines, featuring a strong sense of sequence and visual extension, demonstrating the power of upward growth. At the same time, the future of the building will integrate a high-tech 3D large screen to showcase the brand's strength to the urban interface.
The design integrates municipal green Spaces into the interior of the park, using a micro-height difference to progressively blur the boundaries between the inside and outside of the landscape. This enables the municipal space and interface space to blend and connect seamlessly without a clear demarcation, thereby enhancing the public attributes.
To avoid stiff and inflexible spatial treatment, the overall approach is relaxed and gentle. By using plants to soften the architectural form, a spatial intention of mutual environmental protection between nature and architecture is formed, allowing the building to grow among the camphor trees.
The north and south plots of the project are composed of 11 building boxes of block scale, with different heights and rich layers, forming an organic space.
In the ground relationship, buildings form block squares of different scales with each other. The blocks horizontally link the east-west interfaces and the entrance and exit Spaces of office buildings. The blocks extend vertically to form axes, connecting each block while using paving to guide and form a convenient open path, linking the two plots in the north and south.
The landscape design circulation line is not only the link connecting various functional areas, but also an important path guiding people to experience the unique charm of the park. We have ingeniously integrated the design of the circulation route with landscape aesthetics, the R&D atmosphere and the natural ecology.
Meanwhile, the circulation route design ingeniously integrates natural landscapes into it. Multiple landscape nodes, such as the Fishpond with Shadows, the stone shadows among the maple leaves, and the sunken courtyard, make every step full of greenery and vitality.
In terms of design style, we have integrated elements of modern simplicity and natural ecology. By ingeniously combining micro-terrain landscape stones as embellishments with evergreen tree species, we have created a unique space that not only conforms to the modern business atmosphere but also retains the beauty of nature.
The use of fir piles for enclosure in the preservation of municipal camphor trees in Jiading Industrial Park is an ecological engineering technology with low cost and high efficiency. Through scientific construction and comprehensive management, not only can the healthy growth of trees be guaranteed, but also the safety of urban greening and the coordination of the landscape can be enhanced.
Buildings do not merely stand as independent entities within the city; instead, they achieve interaction with the urban landscape and form a flexible and rich organic whole with the surrounding wetland landscape through spatial shaping methods. Surrounded by greenery and ecological creation, the park and wetland landscapes interpenetrate each other, providing people with a relaxed and comfortable place for scientific research and office work.
